What isn't so hard to understand is the Word of God, which is painfully obvious on all of the points in which Paulk transgressed. When we engage in overlooking brutal sin in the name of grace (remember Paul's tone to the Corinthians?) we actually define deviancy downwards until we are comfortable. Only harm and loss can come from it. I feel for you and all of the other honest God-seeking families that have been harmed by Paulk and are being harmed by the continuing heresy of D.E. Paulk. It is only by faith one can accept the Grace of God into their life. I had a personal struggle with my faith when I found out about the scandal..because I know for sure God put me under Paulk's minestry.
